Indianapolis
St. Francis Hospital—Indianapolis is the newest general hospital built in the city of Indianapolis.
Opened in 1995, this hospital features state-of-the-art technology and facilities, including the only full-service cardiac and vascular care program on the city's south side. St. Francis Hospital—Indianapolis offers convenient access for inpatient and outpatient services.
The hospital's modern structure and amenities provide a sense of comfort for patients and visitors during the treatment and healing process.
Mooresville
St. Francis Hospital—Mooresville opened its latest expansion in April 2008. New services include:
- a 34-bed orthopedic unit and 26-bed medical-surgical unit
- an eight-bed Intensive Care Unit
- renovated laboratory services, more than double in size
- expanded respiratory therapy service
- a full-time, on-site office for Indiana Heart Physicians, offering patients additional cardiac services
Founded in 1881, St. Francis Hospital—Mooresville originally was built for the treatment of colon and rectal disorders. Today, the hospital has established itself as a nationally renowned center for not only colorectal care but for joint replacements, as well.

hospital's new 16-bed Emergency Department is now open.Opened in 2006, the 22,000-square-foot medical office provides many health care services, including the most advanced services in digital mammography. It also houses the Kendrick Center for Colon & Rectal Care, with cutting edge technology and procedures for colorectal cancer screening and treatment.
